Steps to Rendering your AE Project
Step 1: Go to Composition > Add to Render Queue
Step 2: Click on the yellow letters that say “Lossless”
Step 3: Check off the “Audio Output” box
Step 4: Click on the top “Format Options” to change the “compression type” from “Animation” to “MPEG4-video”
Step 5: Select where you want your video to save to by clicking on the yellow words next to “Output to”
Step 6: Click on the blue arrow to get a bigger drop down menu and then select the folder where you want your video to go to.
Step 7: Click on the “Render” button and wait for the yellow bar to go across the screen and hear the chyme sound to signify that the video is done rendering.
Step 8: Go watch your video and then turn it into the drop box.
After Effects Assignment
The last assignment of the year has been posted and we are starting it on block day. You have until Monday to work on the assignment, as well as take any of your assignments off of your computer.
New Flash Assignment: Animated Logos
You will be animating 1 of your logos (from your Illustrator assignment) for your last Flash assignment.

Magazine Pages
You will be creating 3 magazine pages. Research magazines that you would like to mimic. For example: Rolling Stone, Vogue, Thrasher, Surfing, ELLE, etc.
Have at least 5 examples for each page in a folder on your desktop:
- Magazine Covers
- Magazine ADs
- Table of Contents
